Base on the research result by AOL’s Platform-A, it shows Smartphone users are taking action on mobile advertisement a lot (click on advertisements – 53%; request more information or a coupon (35%, make purchases via Smartphone – 24%). Marketers use technology to align their brands to engage with consumers while they are very focused on contents, sponsoring application, etc.
For User, Smartphone makes it so much easier to access the information they need whenever they go at anytime. And for Marketers, Smartphone and mobile marketing provide new ways to get consumer attention much more easily than traditional forms of media.
That is the reason why some world-known companies are investigating their own mobile system to gain their product market share, for example, Apple iPhone (OSX), Blackberry, Google GPhone (Android), Nokia (Symbian), and Microsoft (Windows Mobile).
