To facilitate the best gear and service for their customer, adidas cooperate with SAMSUNG to produce a mobile phone call “miCoach phone”, which is a device that specially designed for the miCoach project. The miCoach system will be pre-installed into this phone. The focus of this phone is on the sports enthusiast with specialized heart rate monitor, step counter and stride sensor. When you start operate it with a workout plan, the phone will records your heart rate, pace, stride rate and step count to give you data you need to get fit and achieve the goal. So if customers start the workout with the miCoach phone, they can track the progress in real time and instantly know when to slow down or speed up via miCoach.com. Isn’t it cool, right?
From the marketer’s view, this is a creative collaboration and successful combination of mobile marketing and CRM campaign. It linked up 3 famous brands that included fashion, health and technology elements. It shows a strong connection between these 3 brands and really did a innovative promotion. When customer using the phone, they will always keep in mind that they always staying with a coach.
