Case Study in E-CRM via Mobile marketing – Adidas : miCoach Project Part 1 - Software (Adidas X Core Performance)



A Trendy, Famous and High-end Fashion brand “adidas” just launch an new service in their Official website. It calls “miCoach”. As all of you know that adidas is a well-known and worldwide brand which major products are sport wears and accessories. adidas claim that their sport wears and accessories could help people to achieve their best performance in different kind of sports and activities. If adidas just selling you their “hardware”(sport-wears), how can they prove their slogan “impossible is nothing”? how can they help you to achieve your goal ?

In order to provide better service and maintain customers relationships, they start this crossover project with a Fitness-Training company called “Core Performance”. They use internet and mobile technology to help you to achieve your goal. How does this project work out with you ? It is a direct mobile marketing tactic. miCoach is an interactive coaching and training system that help customer to set and meet personal workout goals. When the target customer installs the miCoach into their mobie phone or accesses it though Internet, the miCoach system will start to work out with the customer when they start running or any kind of sports. miCoach will coach customers through each workout by tracking their heart rate. They will generate report and provide their advise after each exercise. So this service can help their customer to provide better sport performance and make them feel that adidas is really taking care of their customer.

So I can say that this is one of the most successful CRM campaign in this century. (The interactive system is just a software of this mobile marketing campaign.
