Mobile advertising has proven to be a great digital marketing in the last decade, with the assistant of Apple’s iPhone and App Store, the numbers to date are fast staggering. Apple’s meteoric success with the App Store is fueling a mobile-application market boom.

App-vertising, a new name for an emerging mix of branded mobile applications and in-application advertising that is finally poised to deliver on the promise of mobile market. More than half of the top mobile applications are games, many companies use its creativity to develop mini game for users to download. Examples likes Audi created the A4 Driving Challenge game applications, and Burger King "The Scent of Seduction” for Valentine’s Day.
Although “app-vertising” provides tantalizing opportunities, it has just started at the very beginning. It is expected that the worldwide mobile advertising marketing will explode in the coming few years and these mobile apps can still function when the phone goes offline.
